Elisabeth Givelet, LL.M.

Elisabeth Givelet is a French attorney (Avocat à la Cour) specialized in providing legal advice concerning large-scale infrastructure projects both in Europe and Maghreb.

Before joining Alexander & Partner in June 2018 Elisabeth Givelet worked at the law firm Adamas in Paris/Lyon, together with our associated partner Philippe de Richoufftz. Prior to that, she was employed at the law firm Soffer Avocats in Paris and at the French office of the German law firm Sterr-Kölln & Partner in Paris/Berlin. In addition, she has gained significant experience working for the International Legal Department of EDF SA in Paris, La Défense, as well as at the law firms Linklaters LLP and Watson, Farley & Williams LLP in Paris.

Elisabeth Givelet assists companies, investors, and project developers with the structuring, financing, and implementation of large-scale projects in the field of infrastructure including renewable energies (commercial transactions in the energy sector, audits for energy projects, bank financing – drafting or review of key financing documents).

She holds a master degree in Business Law (Master 1) and acquired a LL.M. in German Law at the Johannes-Gutenberg-University in Mainz (2007). She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma (Master 2) in European Business Law from the Jean Moulin Lyon III University (2008) and a Postgraduate Diploma (Master 2) in Comparative and Foreign Law from the Paris Panthéon-Assas University (2009). She is listed at the Paris Bar since 2013.

Elisabeth Givelet is French and is fluent in English and German.
