Nana Ofori

Nana Ofori is a Ghanaian attorney specializing in commercial and corporate practice. She was admitted to practice law in Ghana in 2013.

Prior to joining Alexander and Partner, she was the Head of Legal of a Ghanaian company involved in the development of free zones, industrial parks, utility distribution, real estate development, mega warehousing and logistics.

Before that she was, the Legal Manager for one of the major oil marketing companies in Ghana and her role required her to give counsel on commercial agreements, insurance policies, regulatory and compliance requirements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and company secretarial requirements, negotiations and dispute resolution.

As part of her legal training, she undertook a one year internship with the Legal department of Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning and during her time there partook in the advancement of double taxation treaties.

Nana Ofori has acted as board secretary for many companies and is well versed in company law and practice.

During her years of practice, she has advised many foreign and potential investors on the requirements of the Ghana Investment Promotion Act and Ghana Free Zones Act.

Her working language is English.
